Album/Track Title Guidelines

To ensure your work is accurately and professionally presented on global music platforms and passes review smoothly, please strictly follow the title naming rules below.

Part 1: Core Principles

1. Absolute Consistency

The title of the album, single, or track must be exactly the same as the text title on the uploaded cover image, without any abbreviations or additions/deletions.

2. No Generic or Misleading Titles

  • Strictly Prohibited Generic Titles:Such as "Track 01", "Single", "EP", "Album", etc. (unless this is your original artistic concept).
  • Prohibited Marketing or Format Terms:Titles must not contain irrelevant information like "Exclusive", "Limited Edition", "Digital Download", "European Version", etc.
  • Content Accuracy:Album titles must not mention content not included in the album (such as physical gifts, region-exclusive tracks, etc.).

3. Keep it Concise and Pure

The title is just the name of the work itself. Do not add background introductions, promotional slogans, or time tags like "Latest Single", "Dedicated Presentation", "2018 Masterpiece".

4. Avoid Censorship Risks

Strictly prohibit explicit vocabulary and its variants (such as adding asterisks "f**k"). Such content will be automatically filtered by the system, causing abnormal title display.

Part 2: Language and Localization (Critical!)

1. No Side-by-Side Translation

Do not mix multiple languages in the same title field.

Incorrect Example:"Rise 이카루스" (English + Korean)

2. Correct Practice

  • Fill in your original language title in the main title field (e.g., Chinese "大雨").
  • In the platform's "Localized Language" settings, add corresponding translated titles for different language regions (e.g., fill "Rain" in "English" field, "大きな雨" in "Japanese" field).
  • The system will automatically display the localized title to listeners in the corresponding region.

3. Allowed Non-Literal Chinese-English Combinations

If the Chinese-English title is an artistic whole and not a word-for-word translation, it can be used directly.

Allowed Example:"最最重要 (I Remember You)"

Part 3: Formatting and Spelling Guidelines

1. English Standard Capitalization Rules

  • Prohibited:All caps, all lowercase, or random capitalization.
  • Rule:Follow standard capitalization rules for English titles.
  • Always Capitalize:First and last words of the title; first letters of all nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs.

Usually Lowercase (Unless at start/end):

  • Articles:a, an, the
  • Coordinating Conjunctions:and, but, for, nor, or, so, yet
  • Prepositions fewer than 5 letters:at, by, for, from, in, of, on, to, up, with, etc. (Capitalize if part of a phrasal verb, e.g., "For" in "Waiting for the End").

Parentheses and Special Spelling:

First word inside parentheses must be capitalized. Intentional misspellings (like "In da House") must also follow this rule.

2. Special Cases

If the album you are releasing contains only one single, and the album name is different from the single name, please check the corresponding option on the album editing page to avoid system misjudgment.

EPs and Albums

EP and album titles do not need to match any of the tracks and can have independent names.
