Q: Is the song distributed through AIM Issue exclusive or non-exclusive?
Signing a distribution agreement with us only authorizes us to distribute your works to major mainstream music platforms and their digital copyright & music copyright revenue parties. The copyright of all works still belongs to the musician.
Q: How to set song preview and VIP download for distribution?
Songs distributed through AIM Issue are free to preview and require VIP to download. It turns to VIP after 3 months.
Q: The musician already has a musician account on a platform (e.g., Netease Cloud Music), can it be linked to the existing one?
Yes, it can be linked. You can bind the corresponding artist page through Artist Management - Add Artist.
Q: If there is an error or dissatisfaction with the song content, can it be changed?
Please carefully check audio, cover, lyrics, and metadata info before confirming upload to ensure it is the accurate release version. If content needs modification after going live, or if distribution application is already submitted, please provide relevant support to support@aimissue.com. If requirements are not met, please contact customer service as modification may not be possible.
Q: How to express lyric/composition rights ratio and fill in music rights ratio?
Fill in according to the specific creation situation. If the lyricist, composer, and performer are all the musician themselves, the ratio is 100%. If others participated in the creation, fill in according to actual participation.
Q: How should Cline and Pline be filled?
- C Line Year: Year of first music creation (e.g., 2020), usually same as album's first release year, or current year
- C Line: Please fill in the lyric/composition copyright owner—the original creator of the music melody, lyrics, structure. If owned by a company/label, fill the organization name; if independent, fill the creator's name
- P Line Year: Year of first recording release (e.g., 2020), usually same as album's first creation year, or current year
- P Line: Please fill in the album recording copyright holder—the right holder of the final recording product, usually a record company or label. If owned by a company/label, fill the organization name; if independent, fill the creator's name
Q: Can I change the label/display name?
Please confirm upload ensuring song audio, cover, lyrics materials, and metadata info are the final release version. Files can only be replaced if the song has been released for 1 year. If this condition is met, please provide relevant audio materials to support@aimissue.com. If not met, please understand we cannot support replacement.
Q: Can I apply to change the verification entity?
If a musician wants to change the verification entity, please send an email to AIM Issue legal email support@aimissue.com, explaining the need in detail. The entity can be changed only if there are no approved works under the account before the change.
Q: What if upload fails/stalls when uploading an album?
If stalling, page not displaying, slow loading, or upload failure occurs, please switch network or browser and retry. If the problem persists after multiple attempts, please contact AIM Issue customer service.
Q: Can I change my release date?
Hello, musician. Once the release date is selected, we cannot modify it. We will process your album according to the schedule, please wait patiently.
Q: How do I know which channels my work has been uploaded to?
Hello, musician. You can log in to your AIM Issue account, enter the album management page, click on your album, and see relevant channel official links in the sent channels. Through the official link, you can query your album online information.
Q: Can I add album/contract distribution channels?
Hello, musician. If you wish to add distribution channels, please contact our legal team to sign a supplementary agreement, after which we will supplement the added channels for your album. Our legal team: support@aimissue.com
Q: It has been released on other channels, can I upload and release it again on AIM Issue?
Hello, musician. If your work has already been released, please do not release it again on our side to avoid copyright conflict. Musicians can upload new unreleased works on our side.
Q: Can I continuously add audio to an already released album?
Hello, musician. Currently, musicians cannot add audio to an already released album.
Q: Can I change the stage name?
Hello, if there are already approved albums under the musician account, we cannot directly operate the modification.
Q: What if the album/song is linked incorrectly on streaming channels?
Hello, musician. We can modify the linked artist info for your album/song. Please provide the correct singer homepage link and streaming channel song link to our email support@aimissue.com. We will feedback and handle it for you as soon as possible.
Q: What if I want to modify the artist homepage profile on streaming channels?
Hello, musician. If the singer homepage was established by us, you can send the materials needed for modification to support@aimissue.com, and we can contact the channel for modification. If not established by us, please contact the channel customer service for modification.
Q: Can I claim the singer homepage you established for me?
Hello, musician. You can claim the singer homepage we established for you. To claim, please contact the customer service of the corresponding channel.
