Lyrics Submission Guidelines
To ensure lyrics are displayed accurately and compliantly on all platforms, please strictly follow the guidelines below when submitting.
I. File and Format Requirements
- Format:Only accept .txt or .lrc (with timestamps) plain text files.
- Basic Info:File content should include core copyright info like songwriters, singers, copyright holders.
- Mandatory Submission:All non-instrumental works must submit lyrics files.
II. Content Compliance (Crucial)
1. Explicit Content Handling
- No Asterisk Variants:Such as f**k. The platform system will automatically filter and display as asterisks.
- Label Checking:If the song contains explicit lyrics, you must check the corresponding "Explicit" content label.
2. Content Ratings for Minors

"Clean" Version:Must use asterisks **** to completely replace censored words.
Example (Audio censored): Lyrics should be I'm the **** man -
"Explicit" Version:Must transcribe all words completely and accurately according to the actual audio content.
Example (Audio complete): Lyrics should be I'm the motherfucking man
III. Formatting and Structure
Lyrics formatting must reflect the song's auditory structure to improve reading experience.
Basic Rules:
- Line Break Within Sentence:Break a line after each sentence within the same section.
- Section Break:Leave two empty lines between different sections (e.g., verse/chorus transition) to indicate separation.
Basis for Segmentation:
Segments should be made when:
- Song structure changes (e.g., Verse, Chorus, Bridge).
- Beat or tempo changes significantly.
- Singing style switches (e.g., singing to rapping).
IV. Text Format Details
1. English Capitalization
- First word of each line and all proper nouns must be capitalized.
- Must Capitalize:Religious terms (God, You), acronyms (NASA), geographic locations, brand names, work titles, first word in parentheses.
2. Punctuation
- Prohibited:Using periods (.) or commas (,) at the end of lines.
- Allowed:Question marks (?), exclamation marks (!), quotation marks ("").
3. Special Usage
- Hyphen (-):Used for broken words or spelling (e.g., L-Y-R-I-C-S).
- Parentheses (()):Used to mark harmony/backing vocals; first word inside must be capitalized (e.g., (Harmony vocal)).
- Apostrophe ('):Used for slang or abbreviations (e.g., 'Rari).
4. Repeated Lyrics
Must write out every repetition completely; do not use annotations like "(Repeat X times)".

5. Special Vocal Processing
- No Need to Transcribe:Spoken dialogue, improvised scatting, computer sound effects (horns, ringtones).
- Must Transcribe:Vocals without actual meaning but forming key parts of melody/rhythm (e.g., ooh, ah, skrrt).
